2008 Increase in Player Fees Although the Board of Directors does its best to manage revenue and hold the line on costs, DGYB finds it necessary to increase registration fees a nominal amount beginning with the Spring 2008 season. This is the first registration fee increase in many years, and you can be assured that all funds collected by DGYB will continue to be used exclusively for baseball activities. DGYB managers, coaches and board members commit their time on a 100% volunteer basis. Our mission is to continue to deliver the best possible experience in teamwork, skills development and competition in a safe environment.

About DGYB |
| DGYB is an
organization of leagues which are designed to meet the varying
skills and development requirements of all potential
ballplayers, ages 6-15. These leagues provide both
standardized instruction as well as an environment where
children can enjoy safe, organized baseball. In order to
support advanced play for those players who are interested, we
are utilizing the travel league to provide additional practice
and game opportunities. Travelers include both full time and
part time components. Part time travelers are required to play
in the appropriate Youth league in addition to the Travel
team. Click here to learn more about DGYB. |

an conditions are effective immediately. If you have any questions, concerns or

Park District User Fees |
|
Beginning with the 2007 baseball season, the Downers Grove Park District has instituted a fee for all participants in youth sports using Park District fields and facilities. The “User Fee” for DGYB participants is $10 for residents and $40 for non-residents. This fee is noted on your Registration Form. DGYB is not raising its fees to participants this year – merely acting as an agent to collect these fees on behalf of the Park District.
