On Sunday May 16th, 2021 the Board of Downers Grove Youth Baseball (DGYB)  voted to end the affiliation between the Downers Grove Dragons and DGYB. The Board feels that the fit between the organizations is no longer at the level that can help each organization prosper.

Per the Board's vote, the affiliation will officially end on July 31, 2021. No DGYB fields will be available to the Dragons after that date, nor will DGYB reimburse the Dragons for any expenses on or after August 1st. However, if DGYB has pre-approved expenses prior to August 1, 2021, those expenses will be paid as promised. On August 1, 2021 an accounting will be made of all money paid to and received by DGYB related to the Dragons' 2021 spring/summer season, including money owed for field use, umpires, equipment, insurance and any other pre-approved expenses.  After all expenses have been paid, any money left over will be refunded to the [then] current Downers Grove Dragons families.
