Downers Grove Youth Baseball (DGYB) is respectful of your private information, and agrees to abide by the regulations listed below:
REGISTRATION INFORMATION
1. DGYB requests your personal information for program registration in order to place your child into the appropriate league and team. The information you provide in the registration form is used only for the internal use of the DGYB organization by its authorized members.
WEBSITE INFORMATION
The web server and web tracking software used by DGYB may collect information from your IP Address to inform us which pages our visitors read. It is the practice of the DGYB Organization to:
1. Use this information internal review only. After analysis, it is discarded.
2. Cookies are automatically created to store visitors’ preferences, and for no other reason. Cookies can be removed when you clear your internet browser history on your own technology equipment.
EMAIL COMMUNICATIONS
1. DGYB will periodically communicate via e-mail to notify you about coach updates, league, team and event information. If you do not wish to receive e-mails from us in the future, including coach updates, please select 'unsubscribe' at the bottom of the e-mails, or send an e-mail to board@dgyb.org with ‘unsubscribe’ in the email subject line. In the body of the email, please provide your full name, your child’s name and your address, so that we may ensure accurate removal.
THIRD PARTY VENDORS
1. DGYB has partnered with its webhosting vendor, SportNGIN. SportNGIN is a vendor who offers website hosting and content management systems. As part of the arrangement with SportNGIN, this vendor may or may not send e-mails to you. If you prefer not to receive e-mails from SportNGIN, please select the ‘unsubscribe’ link at the bottom of the email.
2. As for other third party vendors or partners, DGYB will not release your personal information.
AD SERVERS
With respect to Ad Servers: We do not partner with nor have special relationships with any ad server companies.
SECURITY
With respect to security: When we transfer and receive certain types of sensitive information such as financial or health information, we redirect visitors to a secure server and will notify visitors through a pop-up screen on our site.
FUTURE USE
From time to time, we may use customer information for new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in our privacy notice. If our information practices change at some time in the future we will post the policy changes to our website to notify you of these changes and provide you with the ability to opt out of these new uses. If you are concerned about how your information is used, you should check back at our website periodically.
